I´ve come back to life... I´m back on two wheels again. It´s been 15 long fuking days but you should see the grin on my face! ;D
Glad you found a sedative that works.

Should this read 2 feet again ;D
Whats new with the ride, a new HP2 [thumbsup]
This is absolutely awesome news! [thumbsup]
Nutts..good to hear!
You're pretty damn lucky it was only 2 weeks..considering!!
[thumbsup]
You already got the new bike too?!
[thumbsup]
What are you riding ?
Glad to hear you're back in riding condition! [thumbsup]
Thanks guys,
Unfortunately no new bike yet.. I´ve got the gsxr and the 749 to keep me busy for a while. I may put the 749 back into road trim if the repairs/replacement of the hp2 take too long.
BTW I was recently informed the engine block is damaged on the hp2 so it will be a definate write off.. God knows what I´ll get next.
MV F4 312RR, R1200GS ADV... who knows, maybe a classic. I´m still off work though, nursing a damaged abductor and regenerating other useful muscle tissue.
My vote goes to the GS. Wicked, dirty, fun! [evil]
Glad you are on the mend and on two wheels. [thumbsup]
Most Excellent, NuTTs [thumbsup]
Glad it was a speedy recovery!
Too bad about the hp2...
[clap]
glad to hear your news NuTTs...
ride the 749... that's a sweet bike :)
Right on! [moto] [thumbsup]
No reservations or second thoughts about getting back into the rat race ?

My first ride was through Madrid traffic with demonstrations afoot and what not. Was terrifying at first and I haven´t used the horn so many times in my life. [laugh]
Every red Mini was a possible psycho with a contract on my head. [laugh]
Better the engine block than your body. Good to hear you're recovering nicely...

Bimota.
Fall in lust all over again.

How can you look at that swingarm and not want to do horribly inappropriate things?
Although I suppose if you've already got a 749 kicking around, the attraction might not be as strong.

Have been haunting my dreams... the price difference is 1000 euro between the two.

I'm glad to hear you're up and riding!
I couldn't help by smiling when I read your last sentence..... had a mental image of you standing in FULL riding kit in your home, bike idling outside while you are on the phone to your boss: "oh, I'm doing ok, but gotta take it slow - it might be a while before I'm back at work."
[thumbsup]

haha... well my boss understands that I can´t be standing or sitting for more than 10 mins before I NEED to move around to keep my back and legs from giving me grief.
This did happen during working hours so by spanish law it is a work related accident, i´ll be off work for a while though. Believe me, I WANT to be working again. I´m soooo bored at home!
Glad to hear that you are ok and on the mend again. I can't recall reading what happened though, but from the sounds of it you ended up with a wadded HP2?

I believe he got pinned between two cars, with only the BMW's cylinder heads keeping his legs from being completely crushed.
OUCH!! Good thing that those bikes have such saggy jugs (compared to the Guzzis) to save a person from such a horrible fate.
it's good to hear all is well for you [clap]
