Hello.
I have a 1970 Fiat 500L that needs a bit of work and a coat of paint. I am trying to motivate myself to finish the body work, but I would rather spin a wrench any day over stripping a car for repair and paint.
Anyway, I suck at photoshop and was hoping that someone could help me out with trying a few different paint schemes.
The car is a 1970 Fiat 500L and is not stock and I am not interested in a restoration. The car was originally tomato red and was painted plum before it came to me. I am not a big fan of plum, so I was thinking the following: bright red, off white, my son suggested black with white racing stripes. I would really like to see it in the Gulf colors, but that would be a hard sell without an example. The interior is black and staying that way. I am open to other colors too.
So, if you can help, I would appreciate it. These are the pictures I have have, but I can take more if these are no good. Any question, just ask.

OMG my dream car. Growing up my parents had a yellow Fiat 600. So much good memories. I wish I could see one again (last one I saw was about 5 years ago in Cleveland by some fluke).
Does it run ?
Yellow is the one I grew up in and would be my choice [thumbsup]
You are so lucky. Please post up pictures of the inside (steering , hand brake, compartment etc)
(sorry I suck at photoshop and am no help)

Cool; the car does get a lot of positive attention.

Yes, it does.
I prefer that line of work to body work. When I got it, it hadn't been started in 6 years and was partially disassembled.
First thing I did the day after getting it was to put it back together and get it to run.
Now, I have ventured over 40 miles away from my home in it and over 25 miles away with my family. I haven't been stranded yet! So, now on to making it look not like a dented pop can.
Oh, and 80 miles round trip in a Fiat 500 feels like 8000 in a modern car!

I am not sure I can do yellow...

So far, I would agree with you.

Sure, when time permits, I would be happy to take some pictures of the rest of the car.

No worries, me too! [beer]
I only wish I was mechanically inclined, that would be an awesome project.
Where did you even find it for starters? Now, I am very curious.
Do you even find parts anywhere? engine parts, body parts ?
I look forward to seeing more detail pictures when you post it up in future.
Thanks and hope the project goes well.
