Bike Bandit has a rain suit on the cheap. Even cheaper with the AMA discount. Anyone know if their branded gear is any good? I'm not looking for Gortex-like quality. Just something to get me home from work if I get caught.
If that's all you need, then carry a couple of yard-sized garbage bags with arms and legs cut out.
seriously.

I'm still chuckling at that one... I'm a little more fashion conscoius than that- not much, but still. Trashbags?
Let's start a poll. How many of you keep trashbags with arm/leg holes cut out with you? How many of you say 'not me'? If more than 50% of you DMFers ride with trash bags vs rain gear then I will too.

I've done it...
and seen plenty of other riders do it too.
Plastic bags under your boots work pretty good too. ;D
I've kept small bags on my bike for ages. Boot full of water is the suck. A 30 gal bag will cover your torso well. Just make sure to tie the waist.
Although if you're smart enough to plan carrying a thin oversuit is easy. Even of the bike bandit suit is cheap I bet it will work fine 2 -3 times. And you can use a waterproofing spray to make it work better.
