Title: Former rider back in the saddle
Post by: Destructobot on June 11, 2011, 01:00:06 PM
Hi folks, my name is Logan.  Hello from Stevens Point, WI!

I'm just getting back into riding.  I had an '02 SV a few years ago as my first bike.  I sold it prior to moving across the country for law school.  Now that that nonsense is over, I couldn't help but pick up a new bike.

It's a '99 Monster City.  Windscreen, bars, and bags are long gone.  In their place are:

Carbon Fast by Ferracci full Exhaust
CRG Lane Splitter Mirrors
Pazzo Levers
Vortex Clip-ons
Dyna Coils Ignition and Wires
Oberion Turn Signals
LED Tail Light
Powerlet Electrical Cables
YoyoDyne Slave Cylinder
DID X-Ring Chain
Billet Sprocket Cover

Picked it up with all this plus a ton of fresh maintenance for $4,200.  Great shape, about 16k on the clock.  Feels somewhat like my old SV, but definitely more power and much better suspension.  I dig it the most  ;)    Only mods I'm thinking about are different bars and a different seat.  Maybe some fancy machined pegs, reservoir covers, etc.

Welcome  [clap]

The bike looks great.  I also finished law school not too long ago [evil]
