So my last two helmets have been size L AGV Ti-Techs. They fit great, if anything it fits a bit loose now that the pads have worn down. Recently I purchased a size M AGV Gp-Tech. According to AGV's website (http://www.agv.com/sizechart.phtml (http://www.agv.com/sizechart.phtml)), a L in Ti-Tech is equivalent in size to a M in Gp-tech. I also measured my head to be 58cm which also confirms with a size M in Gp-Tech. So I figured, a size M should be good.

But when I put on my new Gp-Tech, the helmet feels a bit small. It fits fine around my head (forehead to back of head) but it seems a bit short. The helmet barely comes below my jar. Here are some pics. Let me know if the Gp-Tech is too small.
For comparison the size M GP-Tech is on the (left) and the size L TI-Tech is on the (right)

Looks OK to me.
Its just weird. My TI-Tech (right) sits way below my jaw while my GP-Tech (left) sits just below my jaw.
the GP tech doenst look like it fits you. Shape wise that is. It looks like if you had a full face impact, the front of hte helmet would push into your teeth. a perfect helmet will not allow your face to shift too much inside the helmet.
You shouldn't buy a helmet based on its rating, or how it looks, or how safe it is. None of it matters if the shape of the helmet doesnt agree with you. It is really worth your money to send it back and get a proper fitting one or change brands/models.
Of all the helmets ive worn, the scorpion EXO series was the best and ive had shark, shoei and scoprion with the scorpion being the best overall, but boy do i like how light the shark helmets are!. (SSS!!!!)

I don't understand what you mean. Wouldn't any impact cause the front of the helmet to push into your teeth? Are you saying the front of the helmet is too close to my mouth?
It looks good to me. I don't understand HM's comments though so I may be missing something.
they look fine.
but i think heman is syaing that it looks liek the chin bar is really close to the persons face so that any impact to the chinbar would push it right into the jaw and tha tmaybe a helmet with more of space there would be better.
More space = not good. If you crash head on, a wide space is going to allow a moving face before it hits the chin bar.
Better to make contact right away. There is going to be contact regardless, so it's better to have it right away than after some head acceleration.
The helmets are different - if the new one fits, you don't have a problem.
I don't think it looks vertically short at all.
Thanks for all the inputs. I actually took the helmet to a helmet store by my work to get their input on my GP-Tech's fitment. They are very knowledgeable group of guys. They all said its a good fit too. I would have bought from them but they don't sell AGVs. While my old Ti-Tech fit well, the shell was just too big and I have gotten accustomed to it. That's why I thought my GP-Tech shell was too small.
