Gengras in East Hartford, CT will no longer be stocking Ducati... and based on their lack of enthusiasm in general I doubt they will continue to service them much longer.
They claim they were continually shorted on bike orders and parts took forever to arrive...
My nearest dealer is probably Valley Motorsports in Northampton, MA - does anyone have any experience or feedback on their handling of Ducati?
When I went back home for Christmas last year, I stopped by a Ducati/BMW shop in Brookfield (?) on Federal Rd. Coulda still been Danbury at that point... Not sure, a friend of mine took me.
Are they not around anymore, either?
Valley Motor Sports is a good bunch of guys. I've bought two Ducs from them and have been treated well. Their rates are average and the Duc mechanic, Adam, knows his stuff. Their friendly, knowledgable and honest enough to tell you they have no idea where to get that part you want. For the most part though I've been able to get anything I've ordered. Jeff at parts is very helpful. Hope this helps.

Thanks for the feedback... looks like a thrash up I-91.
Gengras staff have about as much enthusiasm for customer service as unblocking a drain... so no great loss IMHO.
However is there an issue here with Ducati and a lack of support for dealers?
The Cliffs Ducati guys went to this place in Danbury, called Motofit. From what I've heard, they're trying to become an official Duc Dealer.
There's another new Duc dealer in New Rochelle. Other options for service include http://www.europeancycleservices.com/ (http://www.europeancycleservices.com/) in Middletown NY. I know Jay from there, and he's a great wrench and a great guy...
