japan's msf course? haha
that's pretty insane though, cool vid [thumbsup]
I always wonder what kind of mods they do to these bike:
- big ass rear sprocket
- handlebar risers
anything else?
Tiny little japanese feet!
i dont think there is a sprocket on that.... if there is, i dont think its much bigger than stock!
What do you mean "no sprocket". It looks double the size of this one:

Also notice the obvious amount of effort to pull the bike back up from leaned way over ~
JM
Perfect example of you go where you look. They should use this clip in all rider courses and tell the students to keep an eye on this guys helmet.
[thumbsup] No need to stick a knee out. ;)

Very impressive and consistent control of his machine.

it's as if the forks are fully compressed the whole time.
Regardless of mods to the bike, very impressive driving.

Lolwut?...
It does look a bit bigger. Still, mods or not that's brilliant bike control. I'd struggle to slowride that course let alone do that!
Very nice! They should bring it to North America, it takes more skill than doing 170 mph down a straight!
Buell ran battle trax for awile, that was simmilar. Though I never saw anyone show the kind of skill shown in the video.
awesome vid.
what kind of tires?
do they use warmers?
He also has bars and risers in place of clipons, hence more leverage.
i love seeing these clips.. always amazes me.
Gymkana i think is what the Japs call it
I would get dizzy and lost.
What a skill ! Amazing ! [clap]
Try doing that on a Monster which only has 2 degrees of steering lock ;D
Yes its Gymkhana, I used to do this but in my S14. Its similar to autox but the course is much smaller tighter turns and such.
This guys amazing.
Truly impressive. [thumbsup]
Its a female riding.
I've seen Motorcycle cops do this too on Interceptor Harleys and BMW's. I believe there is a yearly Contest somewhere in the states.

Hell, just memorizing the course would be a challenge! That sprocket is way bigger than stock...not quite stunter 72 teeth, but big.
If that was a female, I'd seriously re-consider my aspiration of becoming a professional motorcycle rider. :-[
But that was a very good run. :)

Nationals is probably during Police week in D.C.
A huge misconception for "getting a knee down" is that you are somehow supporting the bike through a turn. Truth is, it is merely used as a feeler/indicator of lean angle.
Sure, there are professional riders who have saved crashes this way but if you are supporting weight on your knee, you are on your way to a crash.
Watch the below video and in a lot of instances, you will see even at full lean, the pucks are just a fraction of an inch above the ground. Most of the time they are skimming right at the edge of contact.

KR, Sr. said he used his knee for support, making it easier to keep the bike stable...but that was in the 1970s...
No need for knees here

Don't think you'd call this rider slow...
