Title: Greets from CO
Post by: d3vi@nt on July 17, 2011, 10:41:49 AM
Since I already broke the first rule of posting before introduction, I figured I'd better make try to make amends and post an intro:

Name:  Justin G.
Location:  Fort Collins, CO
Bike(s) (if any):  '07 M695 (totally stock), '81 XR 200R
How long you've been riding:  Started riding dirt at age 11, new to the road scene this year.
Anything else you'd like to share: I love things with two wheels. I have a stable of mountain and road bicycles that now compete for motorized ride-time. Most motorheads would laugh, but it's amazing how much pedal-bikes and motor-bikes share in common.

I'd been wanting to get a road bike for years since leaving the rains of Oregon. One evening while surfing the web I stumbled upon the Monster (I helped my Dad restore an older Duc years ago and have been a Duc fan since.) and that was the catalyst.

I lurked here for quite some time before finally buying my Monster and want to thank everyone for sharing their knowledge and input that helped me find a bike.   [drink]

welcome Justin. I lived in Ft. Fun from 1991 to 2003, and miss it almost every day. I actually moved from CO to OR (K Falls) for work before landing back on the East coast.

there is a very active group based out of the Denver area. check in with them over in the local clubs section........and start planning for the annual get together...

Welcome!  I love bikes with pedals and engines and have several of both.

Thanks, Herm. I moved here around 2003. I'm sure you'd be shocked by all the growth since that time.  Still a great town, though.  I'll look into the Denver group.
