Title: Hello from Luxemburg
Post by: Manutex on July 24, 2011, 09:25:18 AM
Hi,

I'm Manu, living in the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg (Europe), more precisely in Esch/Alzette near the French frontier. I'm 37 year old, married and have a kid of 8 years. He's a fan of Valentino Rossi [thumbsup].

Apart from Ducati, I'm very interested in cycling and collecting die-cast motocycles models. My collection consists of over 110 1:12 Minichamps bikes dispersed into several themes (Valentino Rossi, Ducati road bike, Ducati MotoGP and Superbike racing, etc. ...). Here a picture of the Valentino Rossi showcase:

I passed the motorcycle license in 2003 for my 30 years! My first Ducati was a Monster 620 S.i.e.! I change a few things on it and it became the Ducati of my dreams. I kept it 4 years:

In 2008 I replaced the Monster by a Ducati 848. This year, the "new" Monster was only available in the 696 version and I really wanted a more powerful bike:

The Ducati 848 is a nice maschine and it make really fun to drive... but that was not the right bike for me. I need a bike for daily use and for town traffic... and very important, a bike that my passenger can find better comfort [Dolph]. After 3 years in Superbike I finally returns in the world of Monster and since this month, I'm a proud owner of a black Monster Evo:

Happy to found this forum [beer]

Regards,
Manu
