Title: Good, inconspicuous luggage?
Post by: hyphen on June 17, 2008, 09:04:04 PM
I'll be commuting on 2-wheels soon after a month-long furlough.  I'd like to not have to wear a backpack all the time like I used to.  Are there any low profile bags/luggage that are large enough to carry shoes and some extras without looking like I'm on a cross-country trek on a sport-tourer?  I like the Icon tank bag that doubles as a backpack but strictly boycott that squid-enabling company.  Is there anything similar out there?

It'd help to know if you had a plastic tank or not  ;)

I have the tank bag mentioned.  And yes, while it is from Icon, it is pretty well designed.

It's not a plastic tank.

FortyTwo:  Do you ever use the helmet holding loops?  It seems like it would be a bit of a nuisance.  I always imagine the helmet bumping around off the small of your back.

I have not used the helmet straps at all.  I haven'teven tried them out...

I'll do that when I get a chance and let you know.
