A buddy of mine in the UK wants to do this, but the vinyl isn't available there, and I can't find any on eBay here.

I know there's a DMFer who's supplied this (flat black 3M Controltac) in the past.

I don't want to take business away from anyone on the forum, but here's another option if you are having trouble finding some vinyl. There are different types, so be sure to look around and make sure it's what you want.
