Title: Frame Sliders purchase?
Post by: Sundog on August 04, 2011, 06:39:11 PM
Can I get some feedback on good frame & axle sliders for a '10 Monster please?

Local AU ordering info, if it as at hand, would be greatly appreciated as well, thanks heaps.

I think I need to put some on before CSS in September, JIC. ;)

I'm leaning towards Oggy's, they are local manufacturers and I've read some good reviews.

I bought some cheap ass Chinese copies off fleabay - look the bizz, good quality sliders, fitted on the bike nicely, hope I never need them.  for those that are bling conscious go the Oggy...

Speaking with a little experience on binning a bike I can recommend T-Rex racing from USA
they were quite inexpensive on initially purchase cost.
The axle front , rear and frame sliders saved my bike from any damage.
Only cost $55 to replace all three pucks  [thumbsup]
The only very slight downside is that those silly Americans still use non metric fixings  [bang]

On Oggy knobs I would love to recommend an Aussi product but when my son dropped his
bike it took close to three months to get the replacement puck.

I got my knobs for both axles and frame from the UK, this guy was great. Cost me $210 for the whole set including postage.
They are just as good as oggy's in my opinion.

Try these guys.

I have Oggys. Happy to support Aussie businesses wherever possible.

In all honesty, they all look quite ugly, a definite visual 'afterthought' (but a necessary one I might add!).

I tossed around for ages between the Oggy's and these;

I think they're the best looking ones that I've seen.

In the end, it was only after binning my beautiful MV Agusta (with Oggy's) and seeing first hand how well the Oggy's did their job that I went back to them.
