what do you guys like in the aftermarket clutch slave dept? i do prefer a 30mm as i like the ease of pull better. any recommendations on brands that have been good to you?
I purchased an Oberon from MonsterParts for my bike. Still have to put it on mine but a coworker got one for his Duc and let me take it for a spin. Huge difference. You can find neutral much easier and the pull is much lighter as well.
Love my STM 30mm. Better feel and much reduced effort.

ya, that's the one i've been thinking of going with. @#$KIn $225!!!
Check the Oberon. Its much cheaper but awesome quality. Do a search online and you'll find plenty of good things about it.
STM for me.
I think I have an EVO unit. It has never given me any issues.
OBERON Clutch Slave Cylinder (http://www.motowheels.com/italian/myProducts.cfm?parentcategoryid=1652%7CMonster%20Clutch&productID=6677&showDetail=1&categoryID=1680%7CMonster%20Clutch%20Slave%20Cylinders&vendoridtodisplay=0&filterFor=&collection=168%7CEuropean%20Motorcycle%20Parts) on 4 of my bikes. I actually took off a STM on the 1098. It was easier to find neutral on the Oberon.

+1 on the Oberon
I'm planning to get a YoYoDyne. 28mm to work with the wet clutch.

I've fitted afew different makes to both my own and customers bikes and personally fine the Oberon is a quality bit of kit that really works and makes finding neutral easy and lightens the pull on the clutch lever... [thumbsup]
Geoff... [coffee]
I'm using an EVR 30mm unit and I am happy with it
pain in the butt to bleed but good to go now
I am super happy with the evoluzione cyclesports slave - outstanding quality.
If you want something special, go witch uncle Durban's cable clutch conversion:

Yeah, he probably did that to win a bet. That's just insane.
LOL - not insane at all. Gives you back what you have lost with the hydraulic clutch - FEEL

... but if I look to the exchange rate it might be cost wise a bit hefty for you guys in oversees :-\
I've got plenty of cable-feel on my Darmah and GTL. Don't care for that feeling. Plus, I have better clutch sense from my ears -- hearing the engine engage/disengage the clutch.
Cables? No thanks..

ok...I get the cable conversion (not something I would ever want after having a cable on my old KZ) ...but what is going on with the spring plate on the shift lever?? looks like a device designed to give you LESS feeling...

I'm guessing it's there to allow pressure to be put on the shifter - once the throttle is let off just a little - bam - new gear 8) Manual quick shifter...

the trick is his mechanic, I have been told - don't really own that piece myself.
That spring plate is part of Durban's quick shifter kit

Check out his stuff. This dude is building some high end racing shit. Quite a genius in my book.
In that case, I'll try again..... the springs take away the freeplay in the linkage (?)

We sell the crap out of the evoluzione and everyone raves about it. I have a Ducati Performance one on my bike at the moment as well as a Yoyodyne in the collection...all good stuff.
I have no experience with it, but I haven't found a bad product made by Oberon. I think Motowheels has a nice price on them.
PSR has a cheap one too. Not that it makes it crappy, but it came in cheap package with a giant sticker that said "Made in Taiwan"....

FAT-CAT might be another option - its very good quality.
they experimented with cylinder size and ended up with 29mm as the best option
