This seems to be my semi-annual tradition! I swear, another ride will be had and in a new location at some point. By popular demand....
Pace will be chill as I'm inviting a few friends along who aren't hard-core riders, but as always, there's a place for folks who want to tear it up a little. Couples, scooters, etc. are welcome.

Sounds like fun. I've never been on that route. How long do you estimate this will take?
The ride takes maybe a couple of hours. Depending on how much bs'ing happens at the start and break is where the time adds up. [cheeky]
Hoping to get the Duc back this weekend, but likely out on the 27th.
Have a safe ride.
In!
Great idea Belle!!!
Would love to join y'all, but I will be playing tour guide to out of town guests.
Sadness.

There's always an excuse with you! [cheeky] Ohhhh kay...maybe next time.
i am in. most likely.
And we are happy to have you. Most likely.
I'm crossing my fingers that I'll be able to join.
Ciao!
Added to the list. I just like to have a general idea of how many people are coming... last time we had 15 bikes, and I had sorta planned on about 6. The "strategery" gets a little more involved as the group gets bigger.
Sign me up with a pillon.... I don't know if I can get someone to watch the kid but if i said i signed up theres more pressure! muahahahaha.
Signed up. 8)
Boom. I'm in.
Suh-weet. [thumbsup]
I am dropping my bike off at Desmoto tomorrow - new license plate light, oil change, new battery. It feels good to have someone else do it, and it feels great to be ready to ride with y'all. I am getting psyched! [Dolph]
It's coming up! [Dolph]
Looking forward to it. Just checking, is the meet up spot the ARCO gas station?

Usually the Starbucks in the small shopping center, just before that Arco. It's tucked off the road a bit, but if you make a left just before the station you'll see it.
Thanks, Michael.
That's right rciao...we'll see you there on Saturday. We probably would have grabbed you at the gas station if we'd seen you anyways.
Ride is tomorrow. [thumbsup] Everyone that I planned the ride for cannot make it. [laugh] Should be a nice, small manageable group. I haven't been out in a few weeks, so this should be good. [Dolph]
i might be bringing a passengerette, which may delay my arrival a few minutes. we'll try to roll to tambucks by 9:30, but if we are not there please do not wait - we will catch up at pt. reyes station.
I think we'd be willing to hang around for a few minutes beyond 9:30.
in my mind we are going to make it on time, but whenever a russian chick gets involved timing becomes exponentially randomized ... so i do not want to impose my bad luck upon the ducati community. if we are late i'll text MM (I have his number) and/or post it up to Fbook. if you do not hear from me by 9:30 i am probably en route and very near.
... in any case i suspect that you are still going to be loitering on the parking lot at 9:30 anyway. i'll see you all tomorrow. :)
+ one more rider on S2R = my little brother Max.
Passengerette & max have been added to list.

I'm so sad to miss this ride, have fun guys!
And don't be surprised if you see a random cage full of tourists waving...it'll be me at the wheel
:)
Might be riding up in Napa, but if not, I'm in [thumbsup]

Just pull over when you hear us coming--save the waving. [cheeky]

Um, yeah, you are teh suck if you don't come with us. But you have to ride nice. Enzo and I have some CHP issues that we're sorta dealin' with and we don't need any more publicity with the boys in beige. [leo]
Promise :-*, I don't want anything problems with the boys either [thumbsup]

I'm in the same boat. Got busted crossing the DL, so I don't do it anymore [roll]. I'm usually the last to catch up because I just know I'll get busted again. Plus, my Vespa is too slow to really pass. [laugh]
Good turnout despite the weather! Itsasickness had a little bike trouble at the top of Tam, so Tim and Enzo stuck around to keep him company while his tow came. The rest of us continued on and even stopped at Marshall store for lunch--awesome view, warm weather (at that point) and good chowder. The rest of the ride home was pretty and uneventful. RCiao - you were expecting me to take off like a scalded cat at the 101 onramp, eh? [laugh] I was waiting for those few cars to pass first... Sorry thought you saw them. Glad you kept it up--thought you were going to have a very bad afternoon there for a moment!
Thanks to Endorsed for saving the day by spotting the oil leak and extra thanks to Tim and Endorsed for keeping me company til the tow showed up! [thumbsup]
Hmmm, heading up to the top of Tam I saw two classic Monsters heading down, mebbe it was Tim & Enzo? This was around noonish, on Panoramic, didn't get a good look at them other than the lead Monster was Dark, second one was red with gold frame & low mount exhaust, and they sounded niiiiiiiice. iirc one rider had a red helmet, & they were wearing a fair amount of black. Had to keep my eyes on my lane, otherwise I would have oggled more

Wait, did Enzo get sponsored?
Endorsed? Whatever, glad the oily bits didn't make it to your tire!

The lead was Enzo and the follower was me [Dolph] Glad you liked the noise!
Thanks for putting this together, 'Belle! It was fun riding the best part of the ride twice, and it was nice hanging out with Enzo and Itsasickness in the nice warm sunshine at the Ranger station :D
Glad you guys hung out with him. Hope the bike problems aren't too bad!
Yes Enzo is endorsed but at this point only by spell check [beer]

Hmm, well, then I'm glad the oily tire didn't cause you to do some aerial acrobatics. Yikes.

Agreed :o
It was good seeing all you as you were heading down Tam, passed you as you were all heading north.
Oh yeah...a couple of bikes worked their way through our group at one point. Were you one of them?
I fail epically. I thought it was this weekend coming up.
I literally just got done telling my girlfriend about this and she was excited. Blah. [bang]
Well, I'm not the only one who can organize a ride, although you'd never know it from the crickets chirpin' in here. Pick a place and post up. I'm sure someone will join you. [Dolph]

'Belle,
Thanks again for organizing this ride. Uh, yes. I was ready and anticipating that you were going to zoom onto the 101. Glad I was paying attention and didn't run into the back of you. I did see the cars, but still thought we could beat them. Thanks for going slow for me. I'm fast(er) when I know the road and especially when the roads are straight. It was a wonderful morning/afternoon. All told, I was in the saddle for 6 hours by the time I got home. Sore butt, but it was worth it and I'd do it again.
Michael and Ilya, Nice photos and video. Thanks for posting! [thumbsup] Great to meet all of you. Thanks again everyone. Until next time,
Ciao!
Looking forward to having you back out! [thumbsup]
I just got back in town...so sorry I missed this ride, looks like you guys had a good one! Next time...
Nice video of the ride. Sorry I missed it, we'll have to do another while the weather is still great.
love the video! [thumbsup]
Cool video Ilya, thanks for putting it together! Hope Aida enjoyed herself.

Ditto
La Ducati Day is coming up next month. I have a conflict in the afternoon, but we should get together a ride to head down there in the a.m. And I'm not organizing this one!
La Ducati Day.... I am thinking that this should be a definite "Ducati Rider Portraits" photo op day!
