I got a new 160 gig ipod and can hold a bunch of podcasts. My set so far:
Science Friday, NPR
Ideas, from Canada
Fresh Air, NPR
The Commonwealth Club of California, NPR
What do you like? Got any good recommendations?
To me, The Joe Rogan Experience is the best out there. Might not be your thing but it makes me laugh out loud, opens me up to lots of new information and generally make me happy!
My favorites:
The Heidi and Frank Show
&
My Brother, My Brother and Me
Both are comedy podcasts dealing with current issues. Good stuff.
Wait wait, Don't tell me- NPR
How Stuff Works/Stuff You Should Know guys are great!
I like Dan Carlin's Hardcore History podcast.
My 32gig iphone is full of podcast and had to remove majority of my music and photo. Yep, podcast makes the work day go by. You asked for it, here you go.

Podcasts rule. I am checking out Kuntster Cast now, thanks ab [thumbsup]
Can't believe this has not been suggested yet, WTF with Marc Maron - it took a few episodes for me to get hooked. I look forward to new WTFs more than the TV shows I follow.
Sound of Young America, PRI
Wired Features
Selected Shorts, PRI
I listen to Adam Carolla's and Jay Mohr's podcasts - check em out, but be prepared to hear a lot about Adam Carolla and Jay Mohr. They are a little hit-or-miss at times.

I used to listen to Carolla. It then became an hour a day advertisement for his book. He used to have new material from time to time but those days are gone.

I subscribe to "WTF with Marc Marone" but have not listened to it.
RISK is another good podcast that someone told me about.
KunstlerCast is the one that I save and re-listen.
Coupla new ones I found:
"The Smartest Man in The World" - Greg Proops. Another podcast where a comedian vents his spleen (spleencasting?), but he's a sharp guy, apparently pretty well-read, and a gifted improvisational speaker. I stopped listening to the Mohr podcast because it was five minutes of content packed into an hour and a half. This podcast is the opposite of that.
"Here's the Thing" - Alec (flippin') Baldwin. 'nuff said. This is my new favorite broadcasted anything.
Any updates to this thread?
Have a long drive coming up this week. Recommendations welcomed. Thanks!
My Dad Wrote A Porno.
But you must listen from the very beginning.
Another vote for Carollas podcast.
