Title: Busted in South Florida
Post by: JSun on August 22, 2011, 08:41:43 PM
Two months ago a Ford Expedition decided to broadside me while commuting to work.  Wound up with a displaced fracture of the scapular rotator cuff damage serious tmj, and a scared up face.
Well... I'm healed up enough and ready to get on another bike.  A Yamaha R6 was my primary transportation for a number of years averaging eighty plus miles a day.  My daily commute is now only a fraction of the distance (thankfully) and I am in need of my first Ducati.  I'm ready for the full smooth powerband of a twin, distinct styling and relaxed seating position of a monster.
I have come across a 05 s2r 800 on this site that is in my area, and if its still available I very well may be on my first Ducati by the weekend.

Welcome and good luck on your hunt.

IF you spot a listing you have questions about, folks are quite happy to offer up opinions. And from time to time, if you see something out of your immediate area, someone can be convinced to take a look for you.

Thank you, I greatly appreciate the assistance.
I believe I found my match.  Duccarlos is looking to sell his 2005 S2R and is local.  I have a great feeling about the bike and it happens to have nearly everything I am looking for.  The upgraded front end suspension, lowered gauges, boom tube exhaust and fat black tank is perfect.  It's going to be an everyday commuter with the occasional weekend run.  This S2R 800 looks perfect for my intended use and physical build.
Furthermore, I support your species identity disorder and promise to continue lobbying congress for your equal rights as a Panda.  All public spaces should include temperate zones and areas mimicking your natural habitat, oh and bamboo served on all air flights.

yes!  I took delivery of her last Wednesday.  This machine is absolutely amazing.  The only negative aspect about the bike is the amount of attention it draws.
