any one had anything to do with , mick where are you , what was bumble bee
the ST3 Is an awesome bike, looks a bit too much like a honda with the angular headlight for my liking. still, an awesome bike, the ST2 at 944 is good too, just a bit long in the tooth and most have high mileage now.
paul.

Fixed it for ya.
Now, what do you want to know?
Bumblebee is a 2002 ST4, it would seem that the ST series is as cheap as chips at the moment, bloody good bikes though, its not my favourite, the Monster still holds that mantle.
I remember a couple of years ago when me and the missus were heading off to Tassie (hey everyone down there) there was a few of us and we were a few kays from Bombala and we are cruising the curves at about 190 kays and I thought to my self, does this bike have anything left? Only one way to find out, twist the go tube and away she went, me was impressed.
Anyway like I said what do you want to know.
Mmick
thanks paul and mick yer there bloody cheep at the moment i dont care a about a bit of age but my main interest is comfort on trips cheers bazz
not too much of a drama either way you go
it is a buyers market whichever way you go
not too long ago i saw on ebay a st2 with kays in the 20K region , all the luggage , pipes, serviced etc etc for about $6K
damn good buying imho
I've got an ST3.. It'd blow the monsta or the 748 to the weeds on torque, but its comfy and smoooth as well. Its what I'llbe riding the Philip Island in October. (cant wait!! 8) )
I saw an ST3s here in Perth recently with I think 12000ks for 14 grand! :o
piss's me off a bit because I bought mine new and its lost a lot of value...
thanks guys thats what i wanted too know do you sit more up wright on the st compared too the monster cheers bazz
yeah a bit more, tho its been a while since I've ridden an 'upright' monster...

yeah you do sit a little more upright, you also have a generous screen and fairing in front of you too, the bars are a little narrower which keeps you out of the weather.
on the monster decent speed and wide bars offer support from the wind which you don't get on a ST, but you don't get buffeted or as wet as quickly either ;D
thanks paul how do they handle cheers bazz
really well, i have a mate i ride with occasionally with an ST3 and we swap from time to time, it's like a sports bike with a tall screen, but maybe that's cause i'm short. [thumbsup]
