Nice mirrors are spendy so I've been debating throwing symmetry to the wind and rockin one mirror. Anyone going with one and got some pics?
I have just the one and love the look.

Great in the canyons - kinda shitty on the street. [thumbsup]
I've gone with one at times and thought it was putting my life at risk. For a while I used one bar end mirror and a OEM and liked the combination from a function perspective. But esthetically, it was kind of funky. I even did 2 OEMs and a bar end and I loved having the complete picture of what was going on behind me. But it too was funky. I would never again do just one. I don't like being surprised by a cage in a blind spot.
I had 2 bar end mirror, then 1 fell of on the highway.
Just one on the left. It's convex so it gives a good view of my 6. For everything else, I use the old glance method.
went from 1 to 2 due to sketchy drivers tryin to sneak by in my blind spot. at speed (over 50-60mph) while in traffic and changing lanes i found it hard sometimes to throw a look over my shoulder
1 man, 1......thats all I can use at a time....1.
I hear ya Ugly Ducky me too. Especially with a Lid on. At least now I can see them coming better at night with my new Clear Alternatives Tail Light!! [Dolph]

I use the one, almost completely useless, bar end mirror. It's not convex so its of almost no use, but it looks cool. I just use the tried and true "glance" method. [thumbsup]

I prefer the look of two mirrors. If you've no aesthetic preference, you could buy one and see if you miss the other one?
When I had my M900 I went from the godawful stockers to two bar-end mirrors, and then after a crash it spent the remainder of its life with zero mirrors.
Uno, useless bicycle barend. Always look back anyway.
I had two nice PSR bar end mirrors. Went down a few weeks ago destroying one of them. Tried riding with one mirror and didn't like it. Didnt like the lack of view and the way it looked on the bike. Now I'm running two ebay knockoff's.
I have a pair of these

I think they may be made in China but they are well made and provide a good rear view. The price is for a pair. I've been using them for a couple of months now.
2 required here in WA... http://www.americanmotorcyclist.com/asp/legisltn/laws.asp (http://www.americanmotorcyclist.com/asp/legisltn/laws.asp)
Tho, it doesn't say they have to be on different sides of the bike! [evil]
Just the one. Convex. And lots glances. Then I found riding just a little quicker than traffic makes me much more comfortable and the single mirror is less of a liability as fewer "things" sneak up on you or park themselves in the blindspot(s).
I found that two barend mirrors make the bike look/feel too wide.
+1 to what justducky said.
I ride with one convex and find that the rear visibility is actually quite good. I spend a lot of time on highway and lane split so most of the time I am moving a little bit faster than traffic (safer) so less worries about people coming up on my rear.
One mirror works for me, and I don't even have to give up on the symmetry!

Why stop at just two ? I got two pairs on each side - Flat glass barends, and small convex, um, mini-barends.
Yep, the littlies were cheap and look like crap but they are really are the biz in traffic. Not so useful on the highway and that's why I have the plain glass as well.
The can of paint on the fence is about level with gear shift lever, and hopefully the insert shows the sideways view.
