After recieving a few emails from various members asking me to not to cower from being hassled on line or in life and telling me to stand up for myself, and others asking me to return because they miss me ......and........ the fact that the mods did not jettison my membership when I asked them too I am back by unpopular demand. I shall be myself and hopefully not upset anyone but if I do ,so be it. I just wont post in topics where a comical answer can be misconstrued into something derogatory or rude. I shall mind my P's and Q's for once. That said...... its good to be back.
I am thinking of changing my screen name to badgaljudd just to really be inflamatory!! [laugh]
Welcome back! Now, more on those cabbie stories!
JM

Did you ever actually think for a moment that you're the oddest one here?
You're barely a contender. [cheeky]

don't worry about the haters. just like tv where one can change the channel, ppl who don't like what you write can go post somewhere else.
be yourself, express yourself.
There's a lot of innuendo going on here, and I think I'm missing the back story... [bang]
Oh well... Welcome Back!!!

That's right. You should never be ashamed of who you are. You are a cabby. Accept it.

YAY good to see you Erica!!!
good of you to show the stones to come back and say hi.
You've been missed!!!
I have no idea what the issue was that made you leave,
but welcome back.
Thanks for the welcome back messages and the personal emails I have been sent, it is very much appreciated!
Seems I fit in here after all. Thanks Nate for keeping "me on the rolls" so to speak, even when I requested you remove my membership.Thats the defiant spirit I like most about motorcyclists. We are our own people and you ( and the rest of my friends here) for some unknown reason believe in me and for that I am grateful. :-*

Your homework will be to think of at least five good reasons why we do, write them down and post it somewhere you can easily see it every day [thumbsup]

Hi. glad to read you again [cheeky] don't know what happened but glad you are here!
You didn't realise this place was the Hotel California? " You can check-out any time you want, but..."
Welcome back. I've missed the cabby stories.
You just did the one cabbie story didn't you?
We all like stories, except for some of the old and disagreeable types around here.
Like me, but I like stories too so out with them!

I too didn't see the cabbie stories, but I sure did appreciate your recollections about Kenny Dreer and his Norton efforts. I never considered you gone, but welcome back. So are you riding still. I think you sold your SR2 to a guy in the Washington D.C. suburbs last year.

Don't ask where it is now [evil]
Yes I sold my Ducati last year to a very nice gentleman in WAshington DC. He made it his with his own personal touches and as it was very much the way he wanted it , it got remodelled by some numchuck who made a turn directly into the bike's path.
Sometime next year I shall start on a build.....I am looking at a late model(1957-1964) plunger framed BSA M21 600cc flathead. Te bottom ends on those motors are bullet proof as they were used from about 1938-ish thru 1964 on the M20, M21,B31, B33 and most famaously on the BSA 500cc Goldstar DBD32 and DBD34's. So yes, getting itchy to build and ride a special, It will have the pulling power of a train, the top speed of a turtle, the handling of a supertanker, the braking of a falling rock and the style of well........badgalbetty!I will paint t what ever color you guys think fit, looking at sliver, flatblack, candy apple tangerine over gold or perhaps copper......maybe someone should start a poll. It will be started late in the year after I return from Asia and am back at work.
Thanks for all of the kind comments, it really is good to be home. [thumbsup]
