Meet at 9:00 a.m. Start at the corner of Main Street & Legacy Road at the QuickTrip:
QuikTrip Store #937
4645 MAIN ST
FRISCO, TX 75034
Open 24 hours
I'll keep an eye on the weather forecast but if it's not below 50 and raining it's on!
We hope NEVER to need it but...... http://www.medids.com/free-id.php (http://www.medids.com/free-id.php)
Run up to 455 through Celina and then over to the Southbound 75 service road into McKinney. Both fun roads
Go towards McKinney Airport and pick up hwy 546 â€" fun twisty section
North on 982 to Princeton (go through Princeton) - construction looks finished
Pick up 1377 North towards Blue Ridge â€" long sweepers
Left on 545 heading East to 121 intersection â€" tight turns with some straights
Hwy 5 to hwy 121 Farm Road â€" 8 miles of straighter than hell roads
West on hwy 121 Farm Road to 3133 North
3133 North to 2799 where we gas up at Tom Bean
11 West to 69 North â€" straight and boring but no way around that for about 6 miles
Then onto 697 East â€" well known and fun as hell road that takes us just south of Sherman.
Lunch at Loosewheels http://www.loosewheelstexas.com/index.php (http://www.loosewheelstexas.com/index.php) and then everyone can super slab or take 11 South back to 2799 and onto 121 West to 75 South and into Anna for some 455 West into Celina where you will be 10 miles North of the Dallas North Tollway.
so who is in?
Below is a map of the previous ride, I've made some changes but can't fix the map previously created.

if you show up at least one will be in the slow group. :-*
Sorry to miss this one, will be down in the hill country visiting my mom. :(
Probably in; hell, you need someone to blame when you want to stop and pee, it might as well be me!
I will probably hook up with you in Mckinney though as that is about 3 miles from my house.

I believe there is 3; there is a small Shell station on the NE corner. Its not as big and shinny as the other 2...
But beyond the discussion of is it 2 or is it the correct answer of 3; which one are you talking about?
All he ever sees is "shiny". [laugh]
There are in fact 3 of them there!! (I love it). We have met at the one on the SW corner before. I think it is a QT.

Ma'm Cher has delegated this task to one of her minions (the one with an M endorsement).
Embarrassingly, we checked the garage and find ourselves fresh out of operable Ducati's at the moment, so I shall arrive on British steel.
I'm still in and prepping the Motard for a great ride! [Dolph] [thumbsup]
British Iron welcome. [thumbsup]
Motard/grass runner ok too. :P
Nice day for a ride all things considered, but it was about 20 degrees cooler than predicted. I was wearing a tex-mesh summer jaclet, so by the time we got to Princeton, I was ready to head back to the urban heat island. Next time I'll know to wear leather. :-[
First of all, Nate went down, but was able to get back up [thumbsup]
It was good tobit some nice sweeps again, but blind exit curves kill my confidence.
Yes it was much colder than i was prepared for. The ride back was horrible [evil]
I got the shivers and that jacked up my shoulder so I bailed without saying goodbye.
Sorry guys.
Great ride everyone but it did get cold.
Good ride - at least Cher got to have some fun by proxy! It got so cold I had to turn on the heated grips there for a minute.
I don't get over to right side of the metromess that often so a lot of those were completely new roads for me. Thanks!
Glad you enjoyed them. There are plenty more to be had.....by proxy. [cheeky]
The sun actually came out for a bit as I was winding my way home, it was fairly comfortable for a while.
It was fun (mostly).

Allan did well and asked Nick if he could take them the instant he walked up. You have him trained accustomed to asking the right questions.
Haha! I saw that bike yesterday when I was at AMS. Very nice [thumbsup]
I actually think I'm in luck with repair/replacement parts; Stuart has a 749 tucked away in the warehouse that's being parted out so I may be able to get my 999 back on the road the one-stop-shop way.

I agree we need to plan another ride like this but the next two weekends are out for me.
Maybe if we plan a ride far enough in advance we can get more people going.
What about mid-April sometime? [Dolph]
I'm with you Lisa, too many honey-do's the next couple of weekends, assuming the weather is nice (fence repairs.....sheesh!).
But you know I am game!
Mark
It's on for next Saturday the 26th and we have a new/old rider coming along. show up and you'll be surprised by who joins us on this ride.
Post up if you're coming. We start about 9, temps will decide what time so lets see how the weather plays out although I no longer give a shit since I finally have heated gear......only took 10 years of whining
Wish I could but that weekend is toast. Why not another time? ;D

You're freaking lying if you are saying that now that you have heated gear you'll quit whining, you'll just not be whining about THAT.
Since there is a special guest star I'll likely be in. Are we anticipating leaving from the QT near you? If yes, then Charlie, it is on Main Street in Frisco, west of the toll road.

Might have to tap the brakes... I saw today the steel is just peeking through my rear in one spot. I had intended to order them tomorrow, and then have them spooned on next week, but if they can't get them in by Friday, the weekend is a no-go. :( I didn't realize they were that close, but I just rolled it 5K, so that makes sense.
