Well I'm glad we don't have the same forum Nazis here.
All I tried to do was to post some images of the new 1199 and
my posts were repeatably deleted... calling them forum Nazis must have done me in ;D
Can't figure out why they don't like pictures of the new bike before their sponsors post them ???
thats becasue <insert specific reason here>! You must of known that by reading their terms and agreement.

Fellas....
Just wanted to post a more "personal" note here. Seems like we are really running into a tough time with the drama over posting pics (from the show) and the scanned images about the new 1199. I would like to clear a few things up.
1-This was our decision to support Ducati North America and Ducati Italy after being contacted by them. They requested that we not allow the pics to be viewed here on the forum until the official release.
2-It seems people always get a little "chippy" or pissed off when their thread or pics get deleted, and continually re-post or dig and dig until they end up getting the hammer dropped on them. Not my fault.
Here is the bottom line. We will continue to (as best we can) support Ducati by doing what I have stated in bullet point #1. I never thought it would create THIS MUCH dissension in the ranks! If our decision does not sit well with you, as I have mentioned in other threads there are probably other places online where you can view the pics. If our choice to support Ducati pisses you off and you choose to leave and never return, well you probably shouldn't be here in the first place.
Thanks again for understanding, and if it's going to be like this we have a LONG winter ahead of us. Hopefully all will be well in a few days when the bike is out for good and everyone can critique to their heart's content.
What a bunch of Nazis.
wait, "official release" and it's been at the show already? [laugh]
I say they are a bunch of namby pamby suck-ups hoping to catch some brownie points from Ducati which will never come to fruition....I say fook-em....the power of the internet as a media broadcast frenzy free-for-all is much more powerful than the manufactuer themselves...

Or perhaps they're funded by Ducati and enjoy recieving sponsorship? Damn capitalists! They should be occupied!
at this point, it doesn't matter what it is...the cat is officially out of the bag...so it is all a moot point now
great......... a forum for the vendor, not the user....doesn't Ducati already have a site of their own?
We too have rules. You abide by them or enjoy the consequences. If you dont like the rules you can leave, there's been a few who've made - and been encouraged to make - that choice.
I dont have a problem with DucatiSuperbikes.com. And nor am I a member. I suggest anybody else who doesnt like their user unfriendly rule take their advice:

When enough people vote with their feet they may begin to understand that the value of their site is in the numbers who visit.
