Title: Houston shop
Post by: seanster on November 29, 2011, 08:54:29 AM
anyone can recommend a local Houston shop beside Houston Superbike or Bob?  I'm on a budget and a student so you get the picture there.

Thanks

No personal experience, but recommended by others at some point in time on here.

Motorcycles Unlimited.
Metric Motorcycles.

Metric and MU are both excellent shops, but just a word of warning for you - budget is not a word that you can apply to any of those shops (at least for a student).  They are substantially better than the dealers (both in quality and cost), but you still aren't anywhere near 'budget.'  Your best bet for 'budget' work is to do it yourself and there's plenty of expertise here that can hold your hand through whatever service you need.  Just ask!

Hey Thank you for much for your responds (other thread too)

I got the bike in to Houston Superbike for them to look at what I need to do.

1. New front tire
2. Chain and sprockets
3. Cabs cleaning and probably jet (don't know if the old onwer jet it)

Can you help with these stuff especially the cabs cleaning and jetting.  Or do you know anyone can probably hold my hand and walk me through.

Thanks again
