I've been a little busy lately, what with packing up my entire life to move 3,000 miles across the country to take care of my father who has lost all use of his right arm, to call you every time I take a 30 minute ride... sorry.

It's a Yamaha YSR50. I picked it up off fleabay for $900. I've had it up to about 60ish on the track... [evil]

i used to have a pair of those setup for racing... loved those li'l things.
The 999 is going to stay in Santa Barbara with Sac Duc and Polpetta for the winter.
I'll fly back out next spring and ride it home... [Dolph]
The Fiddy will come east with me, though...
Maybe I can convince Nate to paint it red, with white number plates on the nose and tail, like Monsterlover's 999 had. Instead of 999 Testastretta on the fairings, maybe put 9.99 Pancetta instead? [laugh]
[bacon]
I can paint it any color you want....
this is red...right?

;D
Not quite the red I was thinking of... :-*
Although, I would definitely stand out on the starting grid... 8)
[bacon]
we'll talk ;)
I've got a couple of rattlecans of red in my truck, ready to go... ;)

I didn't snap at you...
I just reminded you why I haven't been riding much. I thought maybe you might have forgotten.
Thank you for the kind wishes. Everything always works out one way or another...

did you get the title with the YSR? if so, perhaps you can put lights on it and ride it on the street....if not, you can look into getting a YZ80 motor to put into it or perhaps just tart it up with some nice goodies from Team Calamari racing....but I love the 9.99 Pancetta !!!

No title, as it was already converted to track use.
The guy told me it had a brand new top end. He was sorta right. The cylinder had been bored to one over, the heads were ported, polished, an oversized carb with carbon fiber reeds installed, and a big honking air filter.
Only one problem... He put the stock piston back in it. [bang] So, about two laps into my first track practice, I blew it up. :P
So, $144.57 later in parts and a couple hundred bucks in labor, I've got a zippy little machine!
;D

Morris Park. Still a lot of Italians here. At this point the population is rather mixed, second generation moves out, new immigrants move in.
