7 to 8 hours left depending on wind.

Record will be just over 46 days to sail around the world!!

I remember what a big deal it was when 80 days was broken.

before I quit for the night to go to the submarine races...

45 days 13 hours 42 minutes.

average speed over 29,000 miles was 26.5 knots.

(I've just barely hit 20 in my trimaran... have averaged 16-17 for an hour plus.   That's so crazy fast I can't comprehend it.  And their's was in the ocean... with big wind and waves and stuff.  respect.

big balls.
