Not sure where this came from. Could be my dad's. Could be one of my grandfather's. Anyone have any ideas or know where to look/ask?
Thanks

A writeup on the PAL 36 RH Fighting Knife. Looks to be what you have!
At first I thought it was an old Marbles knife made in Gladstone, MI but it is indeed a PAL which is owned by Remington - the RH means Remington Hunter

wow. thank you. that was quick!
I had one grandfather who was a Battan survivor and another who was in the Army Air Force but never saw combat due to a bad back. Probably for the best, I think he was assigned as a B-17 belly gunner.
So I'm trying to find out now to whom the knife belonged.
I haven't looked it up, but if its all original with the original sheath - it probably has some significant value especially if you have some history that goes with it.
Thats a great old knife!
Prices run from $60 - $100
There is one of those in the utensil drawer at my parents. I never thought anything about it. Again, don't know who it belonged to. Dad was in the Air Force during Vietnam, Grandad was a Marine in WWII & Korea.
