Well as some of you know, I'm in the Marines and I have recruiting orders. Right now I,m in southern California which has been a blast; great for those anytime rides down the 5, in the mountains, or cruizing the PCH. I don't know where I'll end up. I should find out in April. Wish me luck. Maybe some of us social guys can get together for a ride sometime.
BTW anyone wanna join? :-)

Naw I spent the years of my youth giving Marines rides in airplanes. I'm too old now. Recruitment duty sounds nice though.

Sorry, Annapolis missed their shot at me @ 27 years ago and I ended up going to the better school. ;D
After a break, Nat'l Guard caught up to me a few years ago and reeled me back in.

If football is any indication, then the cadets are about 10 years behind the best school.

Its amazing how far down the list some of these well known colleges are. For instance NYU is #200, University of Oregon #243, Purdue #311
Loyola Chicago #395

Can't put too much stock in that list... for some reason they think that Annapolis MD is in the south.
But if football isn't a good enough measure... http://www.usna.edu/admissions/Notables/Astronauts/index.htm (http://www.usna.edu/admissions/Notables/Astronauts/index.htm)

I can see Purdue at #311 overall considering some of the degrees we offer... but when you look at the STEM disciplines, we rank way up there.
