Title: Rizoma Arm Side License plate holder for Monster EVO
Post by: godudi on December 23, 2011, 01:51:35 PM
Has anyone installed the Rizoma Arm side licence plate on his monster?
I want to get this one for my bike however I don't understand how am I supposed to relocate the licence plate light cable from its original location to the new location.

can anyone shed some "lights" on this?

I'm glad someone is finally making plate relocators in this fashion... should fix the swamp ass issue with tail chops.

That being said, it's rizoma and in general, their stuff always works.  I wouldnt be super worried about it when it comes to installing it, they might be super $$$, but their quality does match up with what you pay for it.  Not sure how they would route it though, maybe it's a new wire run from the battery.

This is absolutely one of my favorite mods. If I had an 1100 it would be one of the first things I would do. I love it.

My guess is the light from the stock light set-up will (in theory) cast a weak light onto it.

I'd just go with a brighter than stock license plate light and use that to light it from far above.

i would think that you would run a wire from where the stock light is, down along the swingarm

I am attaching the installation guide for this product...it doesn't seem to be crystal clear to me..they don't mention anything about the cable wiring.

About the price - it seems to include a tailchop piece....

I think it won't be very difficult to figure out the wiring for the license plate light.
(under seat, along brake lines or speedo sensor wires and the follow the instructions)

Just another idea. SC project bike with side mount license bracket.
unfortunately not in production!! ( really like the mud guard on this one.)

The link is not working any more. Can somebody attach the installation guide for rizoma plate holder. I would like to make it for my Ducati monster S2R.

Thank you,
Toni
