Title: Need a little help. USAF/Military please look
Post by: the_Journeyman on February 21, 2012, 07:43:25 PM
All I need is a decent map, with ALL buildings labeled from an particular base the US Air Force used in Thailand during the Vietnam war.

***This is NOT to be a political topic.  Don't get this thread deleted because of political concerns.  PM me please if it could get this thread locked.

I am attempting to locate a map of a base in Thailand the USAF used during the Vietnam war.. It's pretty important for health reasons, and it needs have all buildings labeled. If you think you can be of any help to locate it, PM me. I have done extensive internet/image searches and can't find exactly what I need. I can't go into specifics in the thread, but PM me if you think you can be of help.  I'll only spill specific details by PM, it isn't a matter for pubic discussion.

No matter how little of a help you think it might be, please, PM me.  It is urgent and a bit desperate.

Thank You
JM

Have you tried advrider.com? There seem to be a bit more older riders there that served.

Pip is correct.  Your best bet would probably be to get in touch with the GeoBase office at Hickam.  They will most likely have archived maps of AF bases throughout the Pacific theater.

One thing to keep in mind, they might not be too keen on releasing them to you.
