Just finished my last upgrades....all I plan on now is a Sargent seat and maybe some rearsets eventually.
Most of the mods I did are relatively stealthy....I like the idea of a subdued, classy, yet beastly bike. The last touches were the Rizoma mirrors, bar-end blinkers, and black braided lines and rizoma reservoirs all the way round. Definitely cleaned up the bar area.

Rode it to Santa Monica and I had to take a pic...it was at that pretty magic hour a bit before sundown.
Love this bike.

What is this thing you speak of?
Nope, I think you have to black out the calipers, rear sets and triples. But if you decide not to, you still have one gorgeous bike. [bow_down] [drool]

I added "just about" to give me some wiggle room. I ain't no fool!
That is absolutely gorgeous. Which boom tubes tips did you go with?
[thumbsup] [beer]

I actually traded for the boomtubes....I think they are the slash cut. I'm happy with them overall, but if my bike had less power I might have been driven more by a desire for a power boost in my exhaust decision. But for me they're perfect.
Thanks for the comments!
We are never done grasshopper ;D

Real close.....
How about a belly pan?
Beautiful bike [thumbsup]
I've seen belly pans look good, but I'm more inclined to remove everything I can, rather than adding. Addition via subtraction, if you will.
Very nice bike! [thumbsup]
This bike is SOOOO well done. Absolutely gorgeous man! Makes me wanna drop stupid money on mine. It's crazy the difference a single sided swing arm and some Marchesinis make. Makes me sad I bought the 696 over the 796. :(
we are never done we just buy another bike and do it all over again spectacular ride though hope you have as much fun with the next one as you did with this one

my 12-13 year old bike also does not understand the meaning of this phrase.
Simple and clean... [clap]
A new front fender perhaps?

What are you, psychic? :D I finished painting a new one yesterday. Small 999 style. Just realized I need to get rid of that oil cooler too....trying to figure out a way to move it out of sight...
