What a complete and utter waste of that word Summer.
DMF friends from over the pond must be disappointed, and we still never got to do Macquarie Pass up to the famous Pie Shop, its a conspiracy I say!
And now to top it all off, the weather forecasters say be prepared for three months of the same type of weather.
Look, I'm sorry for the rant but I feel for Joe (Desmoquattro) and his partner who have used all of their annual leave to come over here to sunny Australia with a bike supplied (that gave them a bit of trouble (sorry)) and it must have been miserable for them. I'd like to give them 2 weeks of my annual leave, might as well, I'll wont get to use any for a long while.
I think I've said enough...... for now
Mmick
Yep Mmick,
49 days out of 91 rained this sort of summer.
And another 3 months worth of similar weather is going annoy all of us.
So Brian are we going buy that boat, might get more use out of it...... [roll]
Well, thats what you get for sending them down south for rides Mmick........Why, I was out and about up the old road today and got sunburnt........ [popcorn]
Glorious weather on the northern suburbs........give me a ring Sat afternoon if you want to venture up this way for a ride mate, after i return from the beach.... [thumbsup]
I also heard from a reliable source that Kurringai Police are going to run a free sausage sizzle at Road Warriors plus a show n' shine in the afternoon. [clap]
37 degrees on my ride in the High Country down here in Mexico last Saturday ;D

Don't forget the special prizes on offer for the 'sound-off' and 'best modified' categories ... they love engaging with the public - it's a good PR exercise.
pfft..
All I've been doing is hanging around the pool. Been to hot to ride.
Forcast is for another 37 deg day on Monday.. 8)

Yeah Monsta, I've been looking at your weather of late.
I would have loved a couple of stinking hot dayz, it
is was after all summer. Actually I was keeping an eye on the bush fires over there, hoping to get the call to come over, but that didnt happen
Mmick

Very touching Mick! Mate, no worries at all! We had a blast, and did mange to get in one quality ride...plus a lot of time puttering around SYD. Many, many thanks for the loan! No visit to Oz is a bad one. Well, except maybe for the folks on the HMS Botany Bay ;D
The one mistake we did make was in only including one weekend in the agenda, flying out on a Friday (to be adjusted & prepared for work the following week).
As for Mac Pass, it just means we'll have to come down again...maybe for MotoGP ;D
Of course, we still want to see your face (and Godfish's) in
this hemisphere. Come during race season, and we'll play pit crew for Tigre!
Done! When's race season?

Actually the cool, wet summer was actually a blessing considering the low number of fire events ... me no likey them.

Yeah I know what your sayin' Betty, but we have'nt seen any action for a couple of years and it is our bread and butter of what we train to do, so something somewhere would be good.
Even Elvis (Erikson Air Crane) sat idle at Phillip Island, well it was on hire but with no work for it, it might as well be doing some PR, (maybe they should have given joy flights).
Mmick
