Better Audi/VW than Hero <shiver>.
My lovely wife, lets call her Monstrodamus, predicted this ... umm ... coming together with her actions back in 2009.
Wonder if that means the AMG-Diavel will cease to exist and any further AMG Mercedes association.
Could be a good thing, look what they have done with Lamborghini in recent years.
Audcati?....Ducaudi??? [drink]
wonder if Rossi will get the sack and bring in Bradl instead... [laugh]

what about a Diavel Quattro - or RS2? Or dare I say it one of their Lemans diesels in a Panigale?? [cheeky]
Considering Audi's owned by VW which owns the Bugatti marque I'm hoping for the worlds fastest street bike with 2 L-twins coupled together, insane performance statistics and a price tag to choke a horse. Then I want to see Jeremy Clarkson race the Veyron against Richard Hammond (who is a keen rider) on this machine from hell, which I imagine to look like a Tron bike, from Bulogna to London.

Unfortunately that will never happen - nor will another Bugatti - that was simply an exercise by Audi to prove it could be done irrespective of the losses (massive) they made on the car. Mind you the Panigale pulls over 186mph (according to Troy Bayliss keeps pulling but over that speed the speedo stops working) - seriously on the roads that is fast and [leo] will have your licence quicker than you can say "how fast officer?".
The Desmosedici is the closest you will come to a road going MotoGP bike. If anything Audi will probably accelerate the development of the world's fastest
electric bike... [Dolph]
I did have my tongue firmly planted in my cheek on that last post but seriously, an electric bike with a Duc badge?? From being famous for its individual sound too no-sound at all ???

haha that is alright I was having a dry night! [drink]
As for the electric bike - unfortunately it is the future my friend...http://www.gizmag.com/audi-quattro-race-car/21665/ (http://www.gizmag.com/audi-quattro-race-car/21665/)
I would start buying up Roar Powers - they were a throttle grip device you put on your pushie and when twisted simulated an engine noise [laugh]
How about a hydrogen fuel cell with electric hubs, matched with Schubeth helmets (German) pumping in a v-twin sound track to a Bluetooth equipped lid! The lid can also have photovoltaic panels so it will always be charged and when connected to other devices can send charge to those also.

Oooo Ooooo
A time traveling Ducati that goes back to moments before you got booked, slows you down and sails you past [leo] then sends you back on your way into 1984!
[thumbsup]
It's a reality now, we are officially riding German bikes.

So the quality will improve then and Frasers won't have deal badly with unhappy customers then.

sadly i had more issues with a 2008 VW than a 2002 monster
That's cause it was made in South Africa.

Yes a friend of mine has a late model Passat wagon and it had destroyed injectors and blown a turbo with less than 100k on the clock.
having said that though the life of my 2002 Monster hasn't been exactly incident free either. :(

Opened and operating long ago. Murphy prevents me from telling you our 2006 Mexican has been trouble free.

VW Ducaudi are now opening a plant in Mexico
This is the type of announcement I would expect in the mid-term. New plant, eager workers ... increased efficiency, increased production numbers, close to an expanding US market.
