Out of curiosity, I weighed my 2008 S2R1000 (with Termis) on the scale at work today. She weighs:
F = 194 lbs
R = 206 lbs
-----------
400 lbs
with 1/2 tank of fuel.

Pretty cool [cheeky]

lighter than I'd have guessed, I remember them being listed at 395 dry, I'm sure the termis shave some weight but still, not bad.
if you're weighing one wheel at a time, is that accurate?
seems like you'd have a lot to correct for. i can get my scale to change by up to 20 lbs by moving my feet around on it.

As long as the wheel's in the center of the scale, and the scale is accurate, yeah, it's pretty close.
Assuming your scale is 3cm tall and you've got a wheelbase of 144cm, you'll get an angle of 1.2
o.
cos 1.2
o = .9997806
So yeah, you'll get well within 1%, even with two measurements.

You should put a new scale on your Christmas list.

I believe it and with my Dymag wheels and custom exhaust mine is probably in the 385 range. It's great until you get out in the mountains and pop over a hill and discover the front end is not touching the road. - [evil]Gene

My SC was similar when I first got it. Had to register the thing when it got to Hawaii, and I ended up taking it to the scale about 15 miles after filling the tank. Thing weighed right at 401 lbs, with the stock
wheels boat anchors.
What it the scale is on a treadmill?
Then it takes off.............a few more lbs....
