Title: Parts from my S2R 1000 for sale ***** ALL SOLD *****
Post by: ddjones on June 24, 2008, 10:59:23 AM
Hi guys,

I'm posting this here first to see if anybody is interested in some parts from my S2R 1000.

SPARKS full exhaust system. $600.00 SOLD
http://douglasjonesdesign.com/s2r/exhaust.html

Competition Werkes Fender Eliminator (Tail Chop) $50.00 SOLD

Ducati Monster Parts high-efficiency air filter kit $50.00 SOLD
http://douglasjonesdesign.com/s2r/filter.html

I also have a set of the Oberon Mirrors in silver. I used them for about a month. SOLD
http://www.oberon-performance.co.uk/acatalog/Bar_End_Mirrors.html
I have to be 100% honest and say that they are quite a challenge to see out of. The mirrors are not convex and don't offer that great of a view. BUT, if you never use your mirrors and need some to be legal I'll dump them at $25.00.

Anybody know if the fender eliminator will fit my 2005 S4R?  If so, I'll take it!

It should fit fine. All the SR tails are the same.  .

Ask Cory if he still has my Ducati license plate/fender clean up kit "thingy" (yes, that is a technical term). He was using it until he worked up the nerve to take a hacksaw to his S4RS frame. It's just a metal bracket that replaces the license plate holder appendage/proboscis, not a total fender eliminator kit. You still keep the "beer tray" it just gets rid of all that shit below the "beer tray". I went with the Evoluzione model on my S2R1000 which is even more brief than the one Cory was using. Maybe Cory can email you a pic of what his bike looked like with it on. Tommy, (you are Tommy right?) you are welcome to use it if you can pry it away from Cory. If you don't like it just get it back to me whenever. [thumbsup]

Cool! Good deal for you and Doug. [thumbsup]

That license plate relocater/fender clean up bracket is still available if someone needs one. I forget that Cory has it... I think he still has it?? He doesn't need it since the tail chop and I don't need it since I went to the Evoluzione plate relocater bracket. I got it through AMS when I got my Monster, I assume it's a Ducati part. If anyone is interested PM Cory and see if he still has it around. It was just on loan to him.
