I find it odd that they are touting the new Viper's aerodynamics so much in the press release.  .364 Cd isn't that great. A current Corvette comes in at .29. Heck, a 2012 Camry is .28  :P

Just looked up some others. A Cadillac Escalade is .36 Cd.

I'd wager the new viper is as wide or wider, and probably generates more downforce. It's not just pushing the air "away," it's pushing it "up."

The 355mm rear tires probably don't help either.

Awesome. That just made my day! [thumbsup] Think that Chevy engineer/driver has been around the 'ring a few times? [laugh] You can see why it's dated but still an awesome stretch of race track. No run off and lots of Armco barriers and fencing. 14 miles of dangerous bliss! [popcorn]

Kinda disappointed in the styling after all the hype....

More evolutionary instead of revolutionary....

I have a sentimental soft spot for a '66 Chevy Impala. My first car was a '66 Impala SS that I bought for $150 from a lady in Brighton MA.It had a 283 with a 2 speed Powerglide and much rust holes down low. That was a very reliable car. That one in the video is a "little" nicer!
