I can't believe nobody likes Peter Rabbit. I suppose you all like Unicorns instead.

Beatrix Potter, EB White, AA Milne and a few others were the best!!!

Tolkien's Mr. Bliss was a rip as was Grahame's Wind In The Willows

I read them to my 3 younger sisters in childhood

read them to my own kids when they were small

and now read them to my grandson....

bittersweet memories as I dust off my 50 (plus) year old voice characterizations

to deliver once again the delightful tales to hungry ears.......

I use to walk to the library as a small child with my big brother. The librarian always had a small collection of little books of BP books on her desk that I could check out! Good memories :)

I was more of a fan of another rabbit.

then later in life I learned how racist I was as a youngster.

Congrats and reloading the chamber with another round  [cheeky]

For a fun kind of bedtime read track down a copy of Mr. Bliss by JRR Tolkien

my children loved this tale, and it was fun to read as a parent

my daughter just ordered a copy for her sons...I believe out of print for years
