My mom called me this afternoon with the news. A few months ago my niece had moved to reno with her daughter. According to my mom..... shortly after moving there she was sexually assaulted. During the investigation she befriended a detective. It was the detective who found her this morning. She has had medical issues in the past....... so it's not clear how or why she passed.

Thank you everyone. I will pass on all your positive thoughts to my brother.

I spent most of the day in a fog.

Her passing has really hit home because she and my own daughter have traveled similar paths. It make me want to smack the shit out of her and hug her till we both break down.
