make the beast with two backs. Just saw this :(
I love No Sleep Till Brooklyn. I'm gonna fire that up now.
RIP
Will be sorely missed. Despite him losing his vocal abilities from the cancer, they still managed to put out a couple of stellar instrumental albums in recent times. These guys are responsible for some of the only music of this era that seems to survive through cultural changes. I would legitimately consider their stuff to be timeless. It really holds up.
I was hoisting one or few in his honor on Saturday night at a Bat Mitzvah and then the DJ later put on "Fight for Your Right" in his honor...brought back many a slam dancing memory for sure...
Beastie Boys slapped with lawsuit in what "MAY SEEM like bad timing after the death of Adam Yauch"
Really? Bad timing?! It's been how long since License to Ill came out? What..about 25 years?!
[roll] [thumbsdown]
Adam, link to the story?
It was in yahoo yesterday. About 50 links there for you just typing in beasties lawsuit.
