Title: Why were the S4r & S4RS's discontinued?

Just curious why Ducati stopped making the 4 valvers...S4r, S4RS's

Oh...I have always felt the SF was more a SuperBike, vs a Monster.

the new monster chassis was designed as a 2v, and won't take a 4v motor.

the only reason the old chassis took a 4v motor was because it was a 4v before it was a 2v.

street fighter is a 1098 chassis.

well someone stuck a 4v into an 1100 and took it to Indy.  I can't find the pictures but it was one fine machine.
