you mean slightly NW ;D
buy plenty of rugs. we scored some that you can't touch here for less than 10k and only paid a few hundred. maybe this could be your next business. [evil]
good luck and congrats.
Choose a well-built structure within which to live and work (if you can). Very seismically active region, with a large number of shady buildings. I think the next earthquake that produces large numbers of casualties will be in Istanbul.

Cool. Fun and interesting place. Head south then along the coast... great riding all the way to Silifke (just watch out for the killer busses) [thumbsup]
Also nice heading back into Greece on the Thessaloniki road to Asprovalta....
A great place, Istanbul is one of my favourite cities, friendly people and great food. Have only been as far south as Fethiye and have heard great things about ballooning down in Cappadocia.
the border crossing between Greece and Turkey sucks so be prepared, at least it did when we did it about 7 years ago.
Head south east to Kuwait for a coffee if you like, careful going through Iraq though! [thumbsup]
Thanks Guys, Ive seen the odd Ducati around here in Bebek. Lots of BMWs. Ill take the ferry from Ancona to somewhere in Greece then another ferry to Istanbul. Not looking fwd to the border crossings [roll] Thats the plan so far...
Welcome [thumbsup].
Congrats!

Yes! Good guy who was the President too..if it's the same one as the WPM in '06. He and his wife were nice people.
When you go, remember that Istanbul was Constantinople, now its Istanbul not Constaninople. Been a long time gone Constaninople, now its Turkish delight on a moonlit night. Every gal in Constantinople lives in Istanbul, not Constantinople so if you've a date in Constantinople she'll be waiting in Istanbul. Even old New York was once New Amsterdam Why they changed it I can't say People just liked it better that way. So take me back to Constantinople no, you can't go back to Constantinople, been a long time gone, Constantinople. Why did Constantinople get the works? That's nobody's business but the Turks.
