had a helluva lot of good times to that music back in the day.
she was trained in opera but made the bucks with disco.

a woman that was sexy in her heydey and had the voice and talent to do whatever she wanted...and did...and made an impact doing so....a tragic loss for sure!

Thought she got her start singing gospel music in church in the Boston area? Either way she was the queen of disco. She made a huge impact on the 70s music scene. And Elton John is right, it's a crime she is not in the Rock & Roll Music Hall of Fame.
