I just figured I would post some pictures of my new to me 2005 S4R. She just got back from the dealership for the 12,000 maintenance and a few tweaks to the PCIII map. It is a very clean bike with quite a few modifications. The bike has 11,700 miles on her currently and is making 111.7 HP / 70.2 ft.lbs at the rear wheel. In the near future I will be taking her back to the dealer to get the cams degreed, switch to an open airbox, and a full custom PCIII map. (Once all that is done I will post up the new dyno results).
This bike currently has:
-Ducati Performance carbon fiber radiator guards
-Ducati Performance carbon fiber front sprocket cover
-Ducati Performance carbon fiber short tail
-Shift-Tech carbon fiber stealth rear hugger
-Ducati 998 SBK front fender
-SpeedyMoto Frame Sliders
-SpeedyMoto Titanium Grey Lower Triple & Stem
-SpeedyMoto Titanium Grey Crankcase Cover
-Rizoma Top Triple w/ Fork Adjusters
-Rizoma Titanium Grey Clip Ons
-Rizoma Rearsets
-Rizoma "Zero" LED Front & Rear Turn Signals
-Rizoma Reverse Retro Black Bar End Mirrors
-Blue Billet Oil Cap
-Ducati Performance Gel Seat
-Ducati Performance Blue Pressure Plate
-MPL Tuning Clutch Basket
-MPL Tuning Billet Black 1/2 Clutch Cover
-Pazzo Gold Levers
-Full Carbon Arrow Exhaust
-Power Commander III
-K&N Filter
-14T Front Sprocket
So without further ado here she is:

Love the blue with white wheels.
Ride safe [Dolph]
Sorry, actually "Ado" was used correctly in OP. "Adieu" is a form of goodbye in French. From dictionary.com Ado - busy activity; bustle; fuss.
And dude, that is a gorgeous Monster, enjoy!!!

As in "Much Ado About Nothing"
And nice find - the blue and white wasn't so common and a great combo. And you managed to find one with some nice farkles
You're right up on a sort of important service point. Every 6k the valves should be checked. Also, at 2 years of age or 12k miles the cam drive belts need to be replaced. If they haven't been replaced in less than two years you should do that *really* soon. Like yesterday soon,
I know all about the maintenance schedule lol, this is my second Duc I had a 2000 M900ie S previously. The pictures were taken just after I got the bike back from the dealership for the 12k mile service. The valves were in spec and did not need any adjustment and they replaced the cam belts as well as the coolant & oil. I am having a blast driving this bike the available power all over the rev band is fantastic.
