I wonder - do you get wetter walking in the rain ............or riding at 193mph in the rain?

I want to know what they used to "clock" him at 193 mph, in the rain.
I highly doubt anyone can ride at 193 mph in the rain, on just about any type of sport bike tire.

LIDAR usually can't be used in the rain.
Radar also normally has to be used at closer range in the rain.
VASCAR is unreliable, but would easily account for a speed of 193 mph if done incorrectly.

BC.

193 in the rain...he's gonna have some bruises.

i'm guessing he had rain tires on and didn't jam on the brakes.

...wreckless driving...

I usually don't correct people, and never on the Internet. But cops giving out tickets for "wreckless driving" would explain why so many people try to run me over daily during my commute!  ;D

Why would you issue 14 tickets?  You only need one citation, maybe 14 vehicle code violations?  And I call BS on 193 MPH in the rain.  They need to calibrate whatever they used to "clock" the motorcycle.

Speeding, driving to endanger, failure to take care in a turn, weaving in and out of lanes,Evading and eluding, failure to stop, failure to dim high beam on oncoming traffic, failure to use turn signal, broken tail light, failure to adjust speed for conditions... hmmm, need four more...

193 sounds impossible to me in the rain. Im thinking that bike would hydroplane long before that. Maybe their detectors need to be calibrated.. but who cares really. Even if they were off by 10% (which is alot) this guy was going well above 150 in the rain. Through the book at him. Im a rider, but i dont condone this BS at all.  If you think your super hot shit.. take it to the track, and see how slow you really are.

I'm with you! Cagers who make the road less safe irritate the hell out of me. Moto riders who make the road less safe are just as bad, but they give the rest of us a bad name as well.
