Poll
Question:
If you walked into the Ducati Dealership and could walk out with just one...
Option 1: Monster 1100 EVO
votes: 21
Option 2: StreetFighter S
votes: 26
Option 3: 1199 Panigale
votes: 51
Option 4: 848 EVO
votes: 19
Option 5: Monster Diesel
votes: 7
Option 6: Diavel AMG
votes: 13
Okay I know this is a Monster Forum so there may be a slant in the voting but feel free to take in to account what you already own. Treat this as what you would really do if it were you walking in to the dealership and were offered any of these bikes for free in any color available.
848 [bow_down] [drool] [bow_down]
well the streetfighter 848 is a great bike, so is the diavel, but it would depend on what you are using it for
Having ridden none of those I'd go with the Panigale but would take the Streetfighter for a ride to make sure ;D
i dont know if i could live with a panagale, its not an everyday ride thats for sure, i value my back
The OP and poll did not say which bike you would get to RIDE...
I would take the Panigale - mount it to a wall in my living room - put a Frame around it - put a spotlight on it and just Stare at it!!
Riding it would scare the pants off me - Oh what a sexy beast to look at though...
The 848 if I was to ride it.
Other than having a healthy fear of it, I would take the Panigale.
I may visit a dealership soon and pick up a new dream bike soon.
Ive been seriously looking for a newer used bike and have either been to slow to respond to an ad and its sold fast or I've gone to look at a bike and there has been some type of BS discrepancy in the actual bike not listed in the ad. :(.
Panigale, no question....that bike is out of this world gorgeous. And I already have an Evo, the poll didn't say you could only own one bike :)

you do have a point there
Hmmm... My bike isn't listed. 8) So, where is "None of the Above"? ;)
Actually, the bike I'd really like is a "new Monster"-based, lightweight, 796 ST.
ok.
two things missing
MTS 1200
and
Boobies...
Right now, boobies for me :D

+1 ON ALL OF THE ABOVE!!!
Boobies. They never go out of style ;D
I have an 1100 EVO, and I have to say, if the Diesel was out when I bought mine, I would have put a thought or two on it.
Was promised by the local ducati dealer that owning a panigale will guarantee a steady supply of boobies.
after test riding the streetfighter 1098 last year, I would have to go with it as my choice off that list.
I think the multi 1200 would be a more practical choice for me however.
Diavel because of that rear tyre.... Bigger is better right?!
Although it wouldn't be the AMG - Audi will see an end to that model right quick!

Love the seat, pipes and styling on the Diesel

actually already done. BUT makes that model EXTREMELY rare.
I'd get a multi
voted 848
but in reality I'd probably leave with a Multi
...and if this poll had been up to DMF poll conducting code...I'd of voted for boobies. I ALWAYS vote for boobies >:(
;D
Multi but then I am biased.
Well since i rode a monster for over 10 years and just purchased an 1198 monday. If i had to choose from this list I would prob get a diavel.
Love the concept of the Multi but I can't abide the Beak looking front. It's like a hot chick with a big nose. Love the 848 EVO especially the black. But my vote went to the Streetfighter.
Voted pani because I already have a SF :)
Multi's not one of the choices, thus the title "new". My choice SF, but not the next bike for me. Like many, the Multi is very appealing. And if I win the lottery, will be parked next to my monster.
Boobies, g'dammit, 21yo BOOBIES!
Boobies....first choice....... second choice, I'd get the diesel.....something different.
Voted Panigale since I already have an Monster EVO. Two bikes is better than one.

I already got some ....so I'm sticking whit a 8v8 evo ;D [laugh]
Shitty back so panigale is out of question. Streetfighter 1098 is my dream bike right after boobies!
My choices weren't on there.
1) 1198
2) Multistrada 1200
3) 848
Okay, the 848 was on there after all. . . .
If Ducati ever makes a Hypermotard I'd like to see that added to the list of options ;D
In the mean time... if somebody else is paying the 1199 Panigale would be insanely tempting, but for use back here on Planet Reality I'd go the 848 EVO.
Yesterday a friend took possession of his new Panigale at Ducati Montreal... So easy friendly user with computer's riding preset, that you can modify as you wish. If money was not an issue, i'l change for that beauty beast.. The sound without termi is awesome, imagine with termi. [drool]

I'm closer to ordering a Panigale every time I read a review about how much more comfortable it is over the 848. However, knowing there's no way I'd ever come close to using the bike for its intended purpose keeps my wallet in check.

Yeah, I'd keep my EVO and add a Multistrada 1200 S. I took one as a loaner when they did the rear wheel recall on my Monster a couple months ago and I loved it. I said after riding it that if I could have any 2 bikes in the world that the Multistrada 1200 S would be one of them.

Definitely Pani.
Unless you already have a SF or a Pani sitting in your garage, why would one choose a Monster 1100 EVO over a SF S or a 848 EVO over a 1199 Pani?

that one has different wheels than i normally see on the 1199's.. looks sweet!, oh thats why, its not an S model... the s model uses the 3 spoke wheels
1st choice would be a multi but since that's not a choice I voted 848.

because if I had to choose between a monster or the SF, I'd pick the monster. I'd take the SF over the 848/1198 sbk any day of the week, but some of us are just fans of the aircooled bikes. all that extra plumbing doesn't appeal to me, visually.
if I could afford the panigale, I could in no way afford the insurance. it would sit in my living room behind a velvet rope. also, I have nowhere to ride that much bike, so I really don't care to own any brand of sbk...
I don't see Streetfighter 848 on the list. That gets my vote.
I wouldn't mind trading my current Monster up for the diesel, but otherwise my dream bikes are a Diavel Cromo, 848 Evo, and a motard thrown in for good measure. : )
I revise my choice ...I saw a Panigale today [thumbsup] [drool] it look so cool and surprisingly nibble
i already have a monster and a streetfighter, so i would have chosen a hypermotard if it were on the list.
add the Tard and I'll choose that.

I wanted to nibble one so much I bought it last Saturday. ;D
Screw the looks....the bike is an absolute rider!
I am liking what I read about the 848 Hyper/Multi/ST thingy that may be debuted at EICMA....
im reaaaaaallly starting to afll in love with the white ducati streetfighter, black frame, black wheels.

Crap! Now I might have to start rethinking OZ Racing gold rims.
I'm really thinking that new Hypermotard 848 is going to be AWESOME.

I see it as a completely subjective matter of taste. I think the color scheme is great and the seat and exhaust are killer. It wouldnt be my first choice but I sure as heck wouldnt pass one up if it was a really great deal. I definitely prefer the color scheme on the Diesel to a white Monster or Ducati Yellow. It definitely has some style, its just not everyones style.

I would still take a Panagale Tricolour...but the SF would be a better fit for my riding needs [Dolph]
which one doesn't have a plastic gas tank?
pani to own/collect, but monster evo to ride.

Panigale tank is aluminum.
I must be getting old. Just like BMW in the 1990's, IMO Ducati styling has gone off the deep end. Nothing I'm seeing today truly grabs me aesthetically. Of course, I wouldn't turn down a Paningale, but I'm guessing my next Ducati is going to be a 916.
Oh, and Duavel?
Allow me to remind you:

The Diaval isn't even comparable to the Indiana IMO. The Diaval is a sweet bike and in person is even more killer...the Indiana is well...the Indiana lol.
I can't see the poll (using tapatalk) but I like the monster diesel or the 848...there's not a Duc I'd turn down if offered tho...except maybe the Indiana
