Title: New Zombie Book
Post by: djrashonal on June 10, 2012, 08:28:51 AM
So my brother-in law wrote a zombie book, and it was just released  today. I figured I'd give it a shameless plug, as I know a lot of you enjoy zombie type entertainment. If you're so inclined - pick it up for $5 off of Amazon. If you're not a fan, I'll give you your $5 back - but at least it will look like he had some sales.

I'm actually really impressed, as it went from concept to blog, to published book (nightwatch press) He's also gonna be at ZombieCon in Ft Myers, FL Oct 20-21

Hope you guys enjoy - If not, PM me for your $5. Either way - please support your grassroots author  [evil]

[Synopsis]
Enjoy the end of the world through the eyes of a desk-bound civil servant.

Nathan is a middle-aged father and husband working as a police dispatcher for the campus police of a large university in Richmond, Virginia. During late night working hours he gathers details on the R33PR Virus, dubbed the Reaper Virus, as it spreads from the far reaches of the globe into a pandemic that begins infecting the city around him. As the city rapidly succumbs to the Reaper Virus, Nathan becomes trapped at the police station while his family waits in their barricaded home. Driven by an obsessive determination to save the ones he loves, Nathan travels through a hellish world having to battle himself as much as the living and dead evils that plague the land.

How are they? I was going to get the woodsman's pal, but I'm cheap - so I'm all about the knockoffs!

You mentioned this blog a long time ago and it got me started.
I've read the first book via the blog and reading the 2nd blog as he posts.
I've enjoyed it. It feels real, like a diary. You feel his pain and panic.
He's overweight and out of shape and you think, "this is me".

Odd, someone called into Walton and Johnson today mentioned they had just written a zombie book.  Coincidence or same person?

Sorry for the late reply. Been out of town and out of touch.

The Gerber versions are great!

I am putting one in my "camp box" and the other will live at my farm in east TX for brush clearing, etc...

Even comes with a really nice sheath and sharpening store! [thumbsup]

Probably just a coincidence. He's based in a Richmond, Va suburb.
