Hey Monster Community! I'm a proud new owner of a 2003 Monster 620. It's my first bike and have been learning around my quiet neighborhood.
Here's a little background about myself. I'm 25 and married, and grew up with my dad riding motorcycles (cruisers) and have always wanted my own. I served 6 years of Active Duty in the Marines and on my 4th and final deployment I put a down payment on a brand new 2010 796, but retracted the payment a few months later before I got back. It was the responsible thing at the time seeing as how I was getting out and didn't need a vehicle payment without having a job. Also, I moved from CA to MA, and started going to school and working. My wife is currently attending grad school and working as well. We are extremely busy. Anyways, I've never lost my need for a bike and finally bit the bullet! I wanted nothing besides a Monster, they are my favorite style of bike, both riding position and aesthetics.
I currently have my permit and read and practice on my bike. I have the BRC scheduled for early July and then plan to take this thing on the main roads. Hopefully I can get it registered before then, MA RMV (Registry of Motor Vehicles) is a real pain to deal with sometimes.
Well I look forward to absorbing all the knowledge and experience I can from the boards and hopefully meeting a few local riders along the way! Stay safe!

Welcome Anthony. It's been many years since I've had the pleasure of visiting a Mass. DMV [bang]
