Alright here. So this is the deal. I am looking for those frame stickers everyone takes off. The idiot who powder coated my frame left them on and thus I have two spots the old color on the sides. I called around and since they have vehicle specific info on them no one has any idea on how to get a hold of some. Any advice here would be greatly appreciated.
Would rubbing a liberal ammount of thinners on them remove the paint?
GK
why not have them repowder coat it?
It's basically impossible to get the stickers for your bike all over again. If it were me in your situation I would go back to the powdercoater and have him re do the frame as he really should have noticed the big shiny stickers on the frame before coating.

WOW, the stickers/decals did not burn off during the baking period? Normally the glue on the decals will start to bubble and then burn in a powder coating oven while curing the powder.
This job was a favor for someone else and I had nothing to do with it. If I walked in and payed for it then hell yeah I would have them just redo it unfortunately that's just not the case here. The stickers are shot for those who mentioned that. I would like to have the frame redone in the future, but as for now I'm buried in this project and want it to look good as is so I can ride it. After I tore it all apart I found a few things that had to be done and it cost a lot more than I thought. As much as I love this bike I also love the roof over my head so I'm gonna pick the battles as I can. [bang]
