I think there are a lot of synergy in creating a database of DMF favorite roads so that when we travel, we know where the twisties are!
I use the Mapsource program which exports in .gdb and am happy to be updater of this database. I am also happy to contribute all my NY/NJ roads to kick it off. If you think it is a good idea, email me your .gdb and I will add it to the database and email you back with the updated one.
As Legend: I use red pushpins for twisties, blue pushpins for sweepers, and green pushpins for scenic. I also use an "X" pushpin for untested roads to try-out for the future.

If you do this, it should be restricted to site members. you don't want to put your favorite secret roads on the internet!

+1
You also don't want LEO to know your favorite or frequented routes.
Makes sense to me.
What do you people think about a "Ride Reports" board to post good trip reports and routes?
I am thinking like advrider.com does.

A friend sent me this link to bike roads in all states - not too bad. Check it out

Sounds like a great idea!
You guys seen http://www.sundaymorningrides.com/ ?
Maybe use what they've got there, possibly with discussion threads here(maybe in a new dedicated board like Mitt suggested)?
