There's something about a good DIY build thread that makes you ponder whether or not you could do something, and then on how you would do it. It's why I got into frankensteining Monsters together in my garage, the fact that I can take things that aren't useful on their own and make them into a thing of art and function just gives me an amazing feeling of satisfaction. But sometimes you stumble across a build thread that makes you go, "Holy make the beast with two backs."

Of all of the DIY projects I've ever pondered, building a 4-rotor Wankel engine has never even crossed my mind and is a reminder of how far I can still go.
i used to really, really want to build a 20b for my fc3s or fd3s but, uh, never got around to it.
this guy rocks.
Wonder if that'll fit in my Z. I'll bet that makes some nice power!
