Um. Welcome to my hell. I talk to them half a dozen times a day.

I have an assistant who does nothing but sit on hold for client calls with IRS.

You can call as late as 10 for some issues. Check.

I just needed an ein verification, which I got. Took about 30 minutes.

Called them 2 weeks ago.

Literally was on hold for 3 minutes. I had already queued up my Netflix, made a sandwich & opened a beer awaiting the ~1 hr. hold time....

That just turned the beer into a celebratory beer for not being on hold forever... [thumbsup]

Oh, and I use my company cell phone for those calls as they can eat the land-line minutes. ;D
