anybody ever replace the standard indicator switches/start button and kill switch setups to something better looking and better functioning? surely there is an aftermarket solution that's awesome -- anybody have one? mine are clunky, old looking and annoy me: (http://sphotos-a.xx.fbcdn.net/hphotos-ash3/599631_10151101562126271_279239070_n.jpg)
Not on my Monster, but on my Bandit I wired in a Streetfighter switch on the left and a Motogadget M-Switch on the right (plus an aftermarket throttle housing). Any momentary switch that replaces a non-momentary one will need relays. It's not too difficult.

Right hand switch with light switch?

You could drill holes in your bars and run micro switches in them. Many of the chopper/bobber clan have done this successfully.
i'm thinking about the streetfighter switches -- gotta check them out next time i'm up at rockwell's or on the track monday when ducati gives me a new one to test out! [thumbsup]
The motogadget m-switches are dead sexy.
The downside is they can't handle much current and I had to pair mine with an m-unit controller (and wiring that up on an FI bike is a lot of work)
You could also use relays, but again, it can be a PITA if you're also doing high/low beams and turn signals.
